1 April, 2015, MD Facility Management deployed its service at five more big facilities in several Russian regions.

Central Kids Store, the largest mall of the kind in Russia, is open again after a total makeover in Lublyanka, Moscow. Starting from 1 April, the renewed seven-story building with the area of 73,000 sq. m is served and maintained by MD Facility Management.

Besides the Kids Store, Solutions Business Center, another big facility, is launched in Moscow. This is a modern Class B office complex with 65,000 sq. m area which technical maintenance is now performed by MD Facility Management.

Meanwhile, in Saint Petersburg, Transneft Baltic, LLC, Transneft’s subsidiary for the construction and management of oil trunk pipelines within the Baltic Pipeline System, has joined the list of MD FM’s Customers. Its 2,900 sq. m office building in Baskov Pereulok, Moscow, is now served by MD Facility Management.

Let us mention here that Transneft Baltic is the second facility of Transneft, JSC, in Russia’s Northern Capital to be served by MD FM. In 2013, the provider deployed its FM service at Baltnefteprovod in Arsenalnaya Naberezhnaya, Saint Petersburg.

With many years of experience in servicing shopping centers, 1 April, 2015, MD Facility Management added one more large facility to its portfolio – the Kaluga Shopping Block (Kaluga Region) with 50,000 sq. m in maintenance.

But these are not all the achievements of MD FM this spring. A bit earlier, 1 March, 2015, Rusal Office was launched in Saint Petersburg. About 25,000 sq. m of the building will be served by MD Facility Management as well.

Northwestern Division of MD Facility Management recently obtained a license for maintenance of dangerous and explosive production facilities of Hazard Class I, II and III.

Under the Instruction on Licensing of Hazardous Facility Maintenance Services, the facilities which use, process, store, transport and dispose flammable, oxidizing or explosive substances (except for industrial purpose explosives) are classified Hazardous Industrial Facilities.

The mandatory condition for the license is the compliance with all requirements set by the above Instruction on Licensing of Hazardous Facility Maintenance Services and Federal Law No.116-ФЗ on Production Safety at Hazardous Industrial Facilities.

The license enables MD Facility Management to render the full scope of maintenance services at SIBUR-Portenergo Liquefied Petroleum Gas Transshipment Terminal in the Leningrad Region.

Sibur – Portenergo, SIBUR’s subsidiary, is the manager of natural gas liquids (NGL) transloading facility at Ust-Luga Commercial Sea Port, Leningrad Region, with the capacity of 1.5mta of NGL and up to 2.5mta of light oil products. MD has served the facility since 2014, rendering technical maintenance of MEP and other equipment, as well as comprehensive cleaning service for the building and adjacent territory.

 The Hazardous Industrial Facility Service License is issued by RosTechNadzor, the Northwestern Administration of the Federal Environment, Technology and Nuclear Supervision Dept.

30 October, 2014, organized by PROEstate Events,the Office Center Management Third Annual Conference took place in Moscow under the support of the Managers and Developers Guild.

Alexander Skrobko, Vice President at MD Facility Management, appeared with a report dedicated to Facility management issues; budgeting, reducing operational costs, as well as contractor and customer communication. Besides, the conference covered such topics as Increasing Facility Profitability; Facility Promotion and Development; Extra Services for Tenants; Pricing Policy; Developer’s Interaction with Management Company in Service Launch; as well as Class A, B and C Office Management, and etc.
